Reflections of Silicon Valley: An Anthology of the South Bay Writers Club (2026)

Reflections of Silicon Valley collects the stories, memoirs, and poems from writers in the South Bay Writers Club, a branch of the California Writers Club. The pieces defy categorization, ranging from literary works, personal essays, and poems (real and imagined) to paranormal romance and suspense. Some are laugh-out-loud funny, others introspective.

Situated on the ancestral lands of the Tamien-speaking Ohlone people, Silicon Valley formed when the Santa Cruz Mountains and Diablo Range rose around a fertile valley. In 1777, Spanish missionaries founded Mission Santa Clara de Asis, giving the valley its official name. Later immigrants cultivated vineyards, orchards, and flowers, establishing its agricultural heritage. Over the past fifty years, the valley has become a world-renowned technology center, drawing people from around the globe with diverse stories, dreams, and perspectives.
